Tier 1 visa holders have the right to relocate with full and free access to the UK employment market. You are under no obligation to already have a job lined up and you are free to join employment in any part of the UK. The visa term is granted for two years and then renewable for an additional three years. After five years of residing in the UK you can apply to permanently settle in the UK and during the 6th year apply for citizenship. To qualify for this visa you must earn the total of 95 points combined which are based on your age, qualifications, work experience, earnings, English language skills and ability to support yourself.
